Born on the 1st of May, 1980, Sidney Onoriode Esiri popularly known as Dr SID is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.He is originally from Urhobo, Delta State but was raised in Lagos. His father is the legendary actor Justus Esiri while his mother is a fashion designer.
Dr SID is the second child of 4 children, and had his secondary education at the Nigerian Air force Secondary School, Ikeja before proceeding to the University of Ibadan to study Dental Surgery.
He eventually began to do music after leaving school, and working with Don Jazzy.
