Kwadwo Safo was born on the 26th of August, 1948 at Bekwai in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. After completing his primary and secondary education, Apostle Safo attended the Ghana Technical Works Institute in Kumasi. He thereafter had a three-year stint as a welder at the Volta Aluminum Company (VALCO).Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo has been described as one of the world's greatest multi-dimensional scientist and technologist of all times. Apart from his Christain ministry, he is also a physicist, biologist, chemist, agriculturalists and inventor. He funds his philanthropic exercises with revenues generated from his numerous investments.
He is the founder of the Kristo Asafo (Christ Reformed Church), a movement he initially started as a prayer group in the late 1960s. He later transformed it into a church on 3rd February 1971 in Accra capital of Ghana. The Kristo Asafo has over the years, grown into more than 130 branches in Ghana and other international branches in London (United Kingdom), Verona (Italy) and the United States. Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka is the founder of Great Kosa Company, a popular car manufacturing company. The company began mass production of the vehicles in Ghana in early 2015 after Ghana’s Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) gave them the green light.He was the first African to manufacture heavy-duty machines, vehicles, engines, and aircraft manually. The super-talented artisan was also the first person in West Africa to build electric cars.
He was the first man in the world to manufacture Bass guitars with seven strings and several other gadgets and machines with extra-ordinary features, including Weed Slashers, Street garbage Collectors, Spot Welding Machines, Automated Human Sensor WCs and Taps, cranes, medical and industrial robots capable of responding to programmed commands, rockets, missile launchers, incubators, armoured cars, radio consoles, and many more.
His philanthropic activities have earned him numerous awards and certifications, including two doctorate honours, an Engineering honour and a recent one which is a Professor Emeritus conferred on him by the Alfred Nobel University from Ukraine.
