7 Essential Things Needed For A Triathlon As A Beginner
Making preparations for a race could actually mean a lot of stress and of course, worry, especially on the first.
You have to think about a lot of things, the enthusiasm, the things you need to eat, any new friends to meet and of course, the essentials.
You have probably spent a lot of time training for the race and wouldn't want anything to obstruct the day's fun, so you shouldn't forget a few things when packing up your stuff.
Instead of forgetting some things, you could actually make a list a couple of days prior to that, and pack your stuff maybe two days earlier. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to wake up earlier than normal because you'd be having a busy, fun-filled day and then you run around trying to get your things ready.

However, as a beginner, you might not really be familiar with the things needed for the day, and this article would be of great help to you.

Things Needed For A Triathlon As A Beginner

The things we would talk about below aren't really for beginners alone, but the other ones would have already been familiar with the items.
Some of them include:

• Wetsuit

Depending on your location, you might be needing a wetsuit for the swim leg of your triathlon. Whether the organisers recommend it or not, it is advisable you get one for yourself as a beginner.
It will help to keep you warm, increase buoyancy in water and improve your swimming speed.

• Wrist Watch

Whether you are a beginner or not, you would be needing a wrist watch. This will help you time yourself and also determine your racing speed as well as other things.
I suggest you go for the best triathlon watches to ensure they last longer with you.

• Tri-Suit

A tri-suit is multi-purpose and you can use it throughout the triathlon. They are designed to dry up quickly and you can even consider wearing one under your wetsuit.
It also has to be very comfortable as any misshapen or bulges will slow down your swimming.

• Goggles

A wrong pair of goggles will ruin your whole triathlon and no one would wish for that. If your goggles do not fit perfectly, they'd be filled up with water and you will have to battle to get them off.
A tinted pair might be a better idea, especially if the day looks like it's going to be sunny.

• Sunglasses

You'd be needing this for both the run and bike stages. A nice pair would mean a lot to you, and you might not have to bother about keeping the sun off your eyes.
Whether rain, wind or even insects, they wouldn't be able to get a way talk more about distracting your sports.

• Bike

Bikes are probably the most important pieces of the triathlon gear, and should be treated as such. Investing in a good bike would mean a lot to your race, and I assure you it wouldn't be a waste. If you have a little good budget, it might be better to spend lesser on the group set.

Which ever one you chose, it's all for your safety, and fun of course, and shouldn't be toiled with.
