Opera Mini Browser Introduces Offline File Sharing Feature
Top tech company, Opera Software AS has just become the first browser to introduce an offline file sharing feature.
According to an information reaching InfoGuideAfrica.com, this new feature would help users receive and share apps without any dedicated file-transfer apps.
Millions of the opera app users can now transfer images, audios and video files between nearby devices with the new 'Xender alternative' without being limited by slow mobile networks. In fact, it works just like the regular file sharing apps at a super speed.

How does the Opera offline sharing work?

Just like the Xender, the new app works with only nearby devices and is made possible through a direct Wi-Fi connection which Opera Mini establishes seamlessly with nearby devices. Opera Mini browser will create a temporary private network which will provide a fast and secure file transfer between the device.

To send a file, go to;

  ⇒ File sharing menu
  ⇒ Select either Send or Receive
  ⇒ Opera will display a QR code for the nearby device to scan. After the other user scans it, you're good to go
  ⇒ Once the transfer is completed, the sender will be notified and the receiver will be able to access it in the Received tab

The Opera Mini is one of the best browsers in Africa with so many amazing features. In addition to it, Opera also has a number of products like Opera News, OPay, ORide, OFood among many others.
