Adeola Fayehun Biography, Date Of Birth, Early Life, Family, And Education

Adeola Eunice Fayehun was born on the 6th of July, 1984 to Rev. Dr. Solomon Ajayi Oladele and Margaret Ibiladun Oladele. She is the youngest of 6 children and of Yoruba descent.
Adeola started her tertiary education in Nigeria but moved to the United States in 2003 after gaining a scholarship through the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. In 2007, she graduated from with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan. 
While in school, Adeola worked as a writer for the Olivet College newspaper. She also founded the Olivet College TV Studio as part of her school project. In 2008, she received a master's degree in broadcast journalism from CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.

Career

Adeola Fayehun first worked as a TV news producer at the CUNY TV after her graduation. During her period there, she wrote and produced a feature on Sahara Reporters's Omoyele Sowore. After the feature, she proceeded into working with Sowore in a behind-the-scenes capacity at Sahara Reporters.
In November 2011, Adeola began her news satire program, Keeping It Real with Adeola! The program features Fayehun reporting in various news vents and happening in Africa. Her show was loved by many because of her ability to blend satire and comedy while reporting.
