The process is called SIM Card Updates and as usual, you'd have to visit any MTN office close to you with a government issued ID card. You'll have to put down virtually every information you had released during previous SIM registration exercises like name, date of birth, address and biometrics.
The only difference between the first process and the updating process is that MTN will be gifting you ₦5,000 airtime as compensation for the inconveniences.
Recall that Airtel first carried out the sim updating process. Very soon, 9Mobile and Glo might be following suit, who knows?
NOTE: Failure to update your sim before the end of August, 2019 might lead to your SIM card(s) being blocked.
