Born on the 10th of August, 1984, Jesse Garba Abaga better known as Jesse Jagz is a Nigerian entertainer and the brother to the Chocolate City CEO, M.I Abaga.
He is a native of Jukun, Taraba State, Nigeria but grew up in Jos, Plateau State where both parents were clergies and he got access to the church choir and drums at an early age of 7.

Jesse recorded his first album with a group, Gospel Insanity but it wasn't a success as they split. He founded another group, Eleven Thirty and it quickly became a big success in Jos.
He hooked up with his brother, M.I in 2004 and they founded the Inner Hub Studios. By 2006 he already had a flourishing music career and his hit, 'Africa' stayed at the #1 on the Cool FM chart for months.

Between 2006 and 2007, Jesse's three songs were simultaneously dominating the top ten charts on RayPower FM, Cool FM and Rhythm FM making them street anthems in and around Northern Nigeria.
His other hit songs, 'Nobody Test Me', 'The Greatest', 'Sugar Cane Baby'and 'Bend Down Low' were also huge successes whole his single, '' was selected as a part of the International Music Entrepreneur of the Year (IYMEY) 2008 compilation.
February 2009, Jesse Jagz was selected to represent Nigeria at the 2009 edition of Sauti Za Busara Music Festival and his debut music video, 'Pump It Up' was also released November, same year.
He featured his brother, M.I and fellow artist, Ice Prince Zamani in the hit track, 'Nobody Test Me' and it was also a huge success.

Jesse Jagz has produced for so many artists including Banky W, Ice Prince, M.I, Djah Djah (def jam poetry), Kel, Majek Fashek, Modenine, Faze, Tosin Martins, Djinee, Silver Saddih, Pherowshuz, Shank, Ruby, Sasha and Kahli.
He released his debut studio album, 'Jag of all tradez' in 2010 and temporarily left the music scene in 2011 and 2012, returning in 2013 with a reggae infused style.
