Most people have always taken him to be Chika Ike's sibling, but this is only a mere misconception as they too weren't born the same place, aren't from the same place and are not even relatives.
According to Emeka, he learnt a lot from his parents. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Lagos, and started his Nollywood career in the year 1987 with a major role in the movie, 'Deadly Affair'.
He has since then starred in over 100 movies.
Talking about his relationship, Emeka Ike divorced with his wife, Suzanne Emma in the year 2000. They had four children together and the woman was the one to file the divorce. He got custody of the children.
