Charles Awurum is a Nigerian actor and producer. He grew up in Lagos State, Nigeria and had always wanted to be an actor from a very young age.
He wrote to the producers of Village Headmaster telling them of how he wanted to be part of the soap opera cast.
They invited him to come over, but he couldn't feature on the show due to lack of the required support. He eventually stuck at acting in his local church and school.
He focused his acting career on comedy roles because of his 'looks' and it eventually turned out very fine for him.
In the year 2014, Charles became a brand ambassador for the multinational telecommunications company, Globacom. He was also the host for the 2016 'Award of Excellence' organised by Magic Lens Africa Film Academy Awards, MAFAA.
