Born 30th May, 1999, English footballer, Eddie Nketiah was born to Ghanaian parents in London, United Kingdom but raised in Lewisham. He started his football career with the Chelsea football club but was released at the under-14 level in the year 2015, after which he joined the Arsenal Academy and played for both the club's under-18 and under-23 levels.
During the 2016-17 football season, Eddie scored 12 goals in his 26 appearances and was called up by Arsène Wenger for the pre-season trips to both Australia and China.
On the 28th of September, 2017, Eddie was called up again to play in the Arsenal's Europa League match against BATE Borisov, and he came on as an 89th minute substitute for Joe Willock. His next appearance was close to a month later, as an 85th-minute substitute in a match against Norwich City.
He made his debut appearance in an international match for England, at the U-18 level in a match against Saudi Arabia. He scored England's second goal in the 58th minute and they won Saudi Arabia 2-0.
In his next appearance, Eddie scored a hat-trick and England won 4-0. November 2017 again, he also scored four goals for England U-19. He is one of the most promising footballers in the English football world and has kept on winning.
