Korede Bello, who became popular after his hit semi-gospel and pop single, 'Godwin' was born on the 29th of February, 1996. He hails from from Lagos State, Nigeria. His name, Korede is a Yoruba word meaning harvest, and no doubt the name has been following him. He was previously known as African Prince, but I bet the new name sounds better. He is a singer and song writer, and his songs are mostly love toned and motivational. He also plays the guitar very well. With an awesome first song, he was filled with much potentials and his manager, Casmir Uwaegbute introduced him to the Mavin boss, Don Jazzy.He later got into the studio, worked on some songs with Don Jazzy and got him impressed which pushed him into signing Korede into the Supreme Mavin Dynasty. It was after then that he recorded songs like 'African Princess' and 'Godwin'.
According to him, he draws his inspiration from the likes of 2Face Idibia and of course, Micheal Jackson, whom you can most times see him dress like. His music is mostly termed feminine, though I don't really see them as that. I generally love Korede and his music.
